My friends and I purchased a pack of these (the green kind) out of curiosity. Outside of the intriquing jewel tones, they were remarkably unsatisfying. They were oddly dense and mushy, lacing the crisp of ordinary or peanut M&Ms.
We got into a discussion/debate about the extend to which consumers are willing to pay for the concept or idea behind a product (“premium” or “luxury” or “limited edition”) rather than actual quantifiable features of the product itself.
