Two Paris Metro trains, one departing.
When I’m not making pithy comments about the built environment, I’m the head photographer for the Yale Sustainable Food Project, where I get to shoot with a Canon EOS Digital Rebel. But for this blog, the Rebel is bulky, overmuscled, and doesn’t travel as easily the 2.0 megapixel camera built into my iPhone, so we go lo-fi. The iPhone’s camera is a bit like a modern-day Holga: Sometimes the low fidelity of the equipment can end up enhancing the pictures. It’s hit or miss—I wouldn’t recommend trying to frame some of these photos, but others turn out well. If you’re interested in purchasing one of the photos featured on this blog, please email me. According to flickr, 2.0 megapixel photos can be reproduced at sizes up to 8×10″ but will probably look nicer at smaller sizes.
